Are there any good red cookware sets?

Having a nice set of cookware in the kitchen doesn’t mean you need to have a bland grey or plain metal set. Nowadays you can get all sorts of colors from your favorite brands, but I have to say the red cookware sets seem to be the favorite at the moment. Red adds a lovely splash of color and personality to your kitchen, without looking to bold or brash.

As that seems to be a popular color then there are actually quite a few red cookware sets on the market. We have looked at nearly 20 of these sets and below you will find the 3 that we picked out as the best buys, there is one cheaper set, one high quality stainless steel set, and then one cast iron set too for people who prefer to cook with iron cookware.

Here are the details:

Best Red Cookware Set For Price

Silverstone Culinary Colors 13-Piece Cookware Set

This is a 13 piece set, but 3 of those pieces are plastic utensils rather than pots or pans. However you do get 3 good sized saucepans with glass lids, one large cooking pot and 2 different sized frying pans (8" and 10"), so this is a nice sized set.

Each piece of cookware is non stick, although the feedback is that the coating is not as durable as on the more expensive sets. Plus each piece has that lovely red finish and red silicone handles so you don’t need to worry about burning yourself when you lift them off the stove.

The best thing about this though is the price, at the time of writing the whole set is just under 80 dollars. The feedback for it is excellent, although there are some concerns about the durability of the non-stick coating as I mentioned, but for this price then it is an amazing value set that will give you years of use.

Best Red Cookware Set For Quality

Rachael Ray Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set, Red

If you have read any of our other reviews then you know we rate the Rachael Ray range quite highly, and this set is no different. The red is a bit more subdued on this set than the one above, but it still adds that splash of color that you want without being too bold.

This is only a 10 piece set, but remember the one above is really a 10 piece set with just 3 plastic utensils added! You get roughly the same in this set, although one of the sauce pans has been replaced with a saute pan instead.

You get silicone handles and glass lids (we prefer the handles on these lids a lot more as they are easier to grip) just like with the set above, and both sets are safe to use in the oven too (this set to 400 degrees, the one above to only 350 degrees). So what is the main difference between them then? The quality. This is a more expensive red cookware set but it also a higher quality set which is going to last you for 10 years or even more.

The price varies depending on which offers are on, but at the time of writing it is just over 140 dollars on Amazon.com.

Best Cast Iron Red Cookware Set

Le Creuset 9-Piece Cherry Cookware Set

Some people prefer cast iron cookware rather than the typical stainless steel pieces that most people buy, so we thought we would include this lovely set in our top picks.

It is made by Le Creuset who are renowned for making high quality cast iron cookware, and it has that lovely ‘cherry’ enamel on the outside of it to give it the splash of color you want.

This is the most expensive set on the page though, coming in at around 430 dollars right now, but for that you get one frying pan, 2 cooking pots, one sauce pan and a casserole dish, along with the impeccable quality you can expect from this company.
